Welcome! Visit Tachogang Lhakhang, National Memorial Chorten, Buddha Point. Overnight in Thimphu.
Visit Tashichho Dzong, Zorig Chusum, Changangkha Lhakhang. Overnight in Thimphu.
⛰ TREK DAY 1 — Drive to trek starting point. Begin ascent through blue pine and rhododendron forests. Camp at Genekhag (3,290m).
⛰ TREK DAY 2 — Trek through alpine meadows to Labatamba (4,300m). Views of snow-capped peaks and yak herder camps. Camp at Labatamba.
⛰ TREK DAY 3 — Visit the beautiful thousand lakes area. Trek to Panka (4,000m) through stunning alpine scenery. Camp at Panka.
⛰ TREK DAY 4 — Cross Talakha Pass with panoramic views. Descend to Talakha monastery (3,080m). Camp at Talakha.
⛰ TREK DAY 5 — Descend through forests to Chamgang. Views of Thimphu valley below. Camp at Chamgang.
⛰ TREK DAY 6 — Final descent to road head. Drive to Paro. Visit Paro Rinpung Dzong. Overnight in Paro.
Hike to Taktsang Monastery (Tiger's Nest). Visit Kyichu Lhakhang. Special dinner. Hot stone bath. Last night in Paro.
