Airlines, routes, flight times, baggage allowance, and booking information for your journey to the Kingdom of Bhutan.
Overview
Airlines & Airport
Bhutan has a sole international airport situated in the depth of the Paro valley. There are two airlines operating in Bhutan: Druk Air (the government-owned national carrier) and Bhutan Airlines (a private airline). There are also domestic flights from Paro to Bumthang in Central Bhutan, and to Yonphula and Gelephu in eastern Bhutan.
For your flight, you can decide to buy the tickets yourself or we can book them for you free of charge. If we book the ticket for you, we will receive notification of any changes and inform you as soon as possible.
Druk Air Routes
Druk Air provides daily flights to Paro from Bangkok, Kolkata, Kathmandu, Delhi, Singapore, Dhaka, Dubai, Bagdogra, and Guwahati twice a week. They also have a flight to Gaya once a week (winter only).
Bhutan Airlines Routes
Bhutan Airlines has flights from Bangkok to Paro every day; from Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, Bangalore, Kathmandu, Ho Chi Minh, and Sharjah (UAE) thrice a week; and from Gaya twice a week.
International Connections
For international flights, you may need to arrange them on your own to get to your point of departure for Bhutan. The flight time can change quite often depending on the weather, so we advise you not to book restricted tickets and allow transit time between your flights of up to 6 hours.
