Flights To Bhutan

Bhutan has a sole international airport situated in the depth of the Paro valley. There are two airlines operating in Bhutan, one is government-owned – Druk Air, the national carrier of Bhutan and a private airline - Bhutan Airlines. There are also domestic flights from Paro to Bumthang in Central Bhutan, and to Yonphula, Gelephu, which is situated in eastern Bhutan.

For your flight, you can decide to buy the tickets yourself or we can book them for you, and this service is free of charge. If we book the ticket for you, we will receive notification of any changes and inform you as soon as possible.

Druk Air provides daily flights to Paro from Bangkok, Kathmandu, and Delhi; Singapore, Dhaka, Dubai, Kolkata, Bagdogra, and Guwahati twice a week. They also have a flight to Gaya once a week but this is only available in the winter.

Bhutan Airlines offers daily flights from Bangkok to Paro, providing a convenient connection for travelers. For routes from Kolkata, the airline operates flights twice a week. They also serve other major destinations including Hong Kong, Ho Chi Minh, Hanoi, Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Bangalore, and Mumbai, providing flexible travel options for passengers worldwide.

For international flights, you may need to arrange them on your own to get to your point of departure for Bhutan. The flight time can change quite often depending on the weather, so we advise you not to book your international tickets on restriction and allow the transit time between your flights up to 6 hours.

Baggage allowance of Druk Air is 40 kg for business class and economy class for 30 kg. Bhutan Airlines allows for business class 40 kg and for economic class 30 kg.

75% refund for tickets cancelled before 9 days of date of departure.
