Welcome! Visit National Memorial Chorten, Buddha Point. Overnight in Thimphu.
Visit Tashichho Dzong, Zorig Chusum, Changangkha Lhakhang. Overnight in Thimphu.
⛰ TREK DAY 1 — Start from Drukgyel Dzong. Trek along Paro Chhu river through farmland and forests. Camp at Shana (2,870m).
⛰ TREK DAY 2 — Follow the river valley upstream. Trek through forests and open meadows. Camp at Soi Thangthangkha (3,600m).
⛰ TREK DAY 3 — Trek to Jomolhari Base Camp at Jangothang (4,080m). First spectacular views of Mount Jomolhari and Jichu Drake.
⛰ TREK DAY 4 — Acclimatization day at Jangothang. Optional hike to higher viewpoints for panoramic Jomolhari views. Rest day.
⛰ TREK DAY 5 — Cross Nyile La pass (4,870m). Descend to Lingshi (4,010m) with views of Lingshi Dzong.
⛰ TREK DAY 6 — Cross Yale La pass (4,820m). Long descent through alpine meadows and forests to Shodu (3,720m).
⛰ TREK DAY 7 — Final descent to Dodina (2,600m). Drive to Thimphu then Paro. Overnight in Paro.
Hike to Taktsang Monastery. Visit Kyichu Lhakhang. Special dinner. Hot stone bath. Last night in Paro.
